Welcome!
I am a music educator, singer, musician with a Ph.D. in Music Education from Western University, Canada.
Alongside my work as a jazz singer and musician, I became a researcher and a teacher interested in investigating and fostering inclusive musical contexts in which people of all abilities can experience music-making the way they are.
I am passionate about popular culture, inclusion, and diversity. More broadly, I am very interested in engaging with inter/transdisciplinary, and critical approaches that may help music educators toward constructing more comprehensive and inclusive practices in diverse musical contexts.
On this website, you will find information about my work as an educator and researcher, projects, and links to resources related to diversity, equity and inclusion in music education.
